When last years crop of apples went pear shaped (lol) I decided on the easier route. 1.5l of 100% juice from Lidl @ £1.08 each X 10 2 sachets of cider yeast Demi's already owned, but you can get cheapies off Amazon for a few quid each with air locks and temp. Gauges. Sugar X 1 mug for each 5l demi. 4 weeks later = 10% abv home brew for about 50p a pint and a random post. Lol :D
