Anyone applied for CPP (Credit card protection) compensation?? I did along with the wife several months ago. Two nice cheques arrived this morning. Mine was larger than the wifes. In total nearly £400.......... Well chuffed. Means the 850 R will hit the road on the 1st May after its Winter in hibernation. Was beginning to doubt whether I could justify the cost of putting it on the road in these times of cash shortages. Roll on May :)
Rachel got £95.00 back, I didn't have credit cards for many years.

All I did was write a load of waffle how it was a scam and I was duped into taking out the cover when I would have been covered under normal consumer rights.... blah, blah, blah. (Which is true of course) Got the wife to write something similar in the small box. Signed it and sent it off. A month or so later........... Here's nearly £400 and we're sorry!! Shame its a bank holiday otherwise I would have laughed all the way :)
Got the insurance for the 850 R down to £250. Don't think I'll beat that in a hurry not with 4 insurance claims in the last year. 3 non fault and a small one that was my fault.
On the Martin Lewis website there is some standard forms to fill in. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/CPP-card-protection Send mine off and it's embarrassing that they gave me back ,more bits for the volvo !.
