Decided to give the car a quick wash yesterday as the sun came out! This is how she sits now thanks to ClassicSwede's uprated shocks and lowering springs. She handles much better now compared to how she was on the old suspension! All i need now are some 17's, Ipd anti roll bars and a Volvo 940 Lpt to kindly donate its turbo lump so i can put it in this! :) This is how she sat on the standard setup: Image This how she sits now: Image Not a massive drop (about 35mm) But the stiffend springs and adjustable shocks now make it go round a corner a lot better!!

this is exactly why i had to cut mine, the lowering springs fro my car because it was a turbo would of been -25mm and the car was about 3" above the wheels, so still would have been sat in the air lol, looks alot better though mate, get some deep dish

The GLT sits about 15mm lower than the standard GL's and DL's so the springs should have been a 40mm drop, but being a GLT it went down 25mm on the springs alone, so when I did the shocks, he managed to take it down another 10-15mm. Id love to go lower, but the access road to my drive is full of holes! :( Im on the look for some deep dish wheels, but as you know, finding something with the correct fitment is a right pain! Ive seen some Lenso BSX's that would look nice, and come with the correct fitment!!

While the weather was nice, I took her for a drive up the mountains and managed to take a few photos, enjoy :) Image Image Image Image Image
Nice looking car mate, it was the 240s when I was younger that made me wont a volvo......
Sort of the same story for me, my father had several as company cars back in the 80's, saloons and estates. Fond memories going on holidays in the 240! :D

Looks great!! The retro Volvo's are really growing on me. BTW, I am jealous that you have mountain roads and that view just a short drive away. What better way to test your new suspension!
