well ive had enough of v70's and 850s at the minute so i bought this as my new daily, it has 6 months mot and tax and comes with a free v90 leather interior, best of all its a 7 seater, 2.3 non turbo manual, i'm quite3 liking the styling of these compared to the 940's Image Image Image Image Image

Great motors Frank and its possibly the same engine as the 240 brilliant simple engine and just keeps on going the amount of abuse I gave my 240 estate was unreal its wasn't the fastest but it never turned its nose up at any thing to ripping conifers out dragging stuff twice its weight a true work horse

Post 691297 by T5RatherAmusin on 2014-02-23 20:06:43

My mum and dad had one of these it was D reg. I was just a kid so dont remember much about it. But my mum ended up going sideways coming out of a junction. And she was in tears cos she thought she was going to crash. Was totally unintentional. I dont even know if she new it was rwd
nearly bought a 940 turbo sport with galaxies, but prefer the look of these
Should of bought the turbo sport they are going up in value now because they are getting rarer by the day .but with a none turbo 740 the are a lot less problems to deal with and it will also slow you down lol

I've got a V90 interior in mine. Have you put it in yet? You may be lucky and find the drivers side is pre-wired. You'll have to stick a car battery to the wires to install them otherwise.

Miles better than the 740/940, really comfy, but they are electric so you can't install the front seats until you give them 12v so you can access the bolts. The backs will probably have a different locking mech than the 740 ones so you may need a set of C pillar "loops". You'll have to take out the big green relays underneath to get the heated seats to work too.
