Got my new tyres fitted today :) Uniroyal RainSport 3s in 215/45x17 XL. Shark skin technology - gotta love that! Loved the Rainsport 2s and expecting these to be equally good. A rated wet grip and C rated economy. Did the usual roundabout test on the way home and... lets say I have no complaints ;)

I had the "2's" on the S4 when I first go it, they were good tyres.

Yep, I put 2s on my 850R - that had phenominal handling. I wouldn't fit anything else these days, I'm a huge fan of Rainsports

Yeah, the rears need replacing lol. I'll be doing the lot in the summer - braided hoses as well.

I'd be interested to see how the costs compare because I can't fault my budget winter tyres for grip and overall handling.

£310 for 4 inc shipping (£75ea). From Camskills. They're 'A' rated for wet grip BTW

glad someone has just confirmed what i was going to ask LOL that was can you get away with 215's on the v70! i will take this as confirmation you can! I have always had 2s on mine, but as camskill (which is where i got my 2s from) dont have them in stock, it looks like i will also be upgrading to 3s :)
