heard from a not very reliable source a 15g can be converted to a 16t simply by changing the compressor wheel. You do also need to use a superback rebuild kit but the original 15g compressor housing doesn't need to be modified. I have my doubt's as the inducer side of the wheel is 1.4mm bigger than that of a 15g, but wondered if anyone has got both turbo's they could try it on or just done it before
sounds interesting Pedro, not got into playing with the turbo yet, but will be looking to improve my 15g in the latter half of the year, want to try a couple of other things on the 1/4 first to get a real measurement of the improvements so far before upping the boost capacity

According to the Melett Td04 catalogue the only difference between the 15G and the 16T is the tip height (5.4 vs 5.7) and the flatback/superback so it 'should' fit. I`ve got a 15g compressor housing and a complete 16T, so If you wait until tomorrow I`ll see it the 16T compressor wheel fits in the 15g compressor housing.
