It's a sad fact they're so low in price, no body wants a big fuel guzzling estate car. No wonder so many get broken. I figure mine is worth at least a third more in bits & it would be a damn site easier to sell. Lol

If it was in worse condition I would have thought about breaking it, and probably made a profit! Madness
Hats off to the guy below for single handedly raising the prices of our motors:

True but look at the T5-R's they're only going up in price now, hang onto these for a few more years and they'll start to increase in value as well.

I don't know if they will be as desireable but with programs like top gear & 5th gear featuring them it can only get better I suppose. I do get asked about mine all the time so people are interested, but this isn't reflected on the price as most are money pits like mine has been. I hope if I get everything working as it should & keep the mods sensible it will give me a return if I did come to sell it. I keep saying I will break it but a v70r manual with a working awd is a rare thing now so in a few years...

Cheers Dan, I bought a 2 month old ETM from ebay and got Volmech to fit it for me and sort software and it`s back to flying again lol
I would defo be interested in a local meet, have tried asking my landlord if I can have them at my detailing studio again but he still being arsey after over 100 cars turned up for the Vagcars meet

At least you have finally got it back up and running to how it should be.
Yeah I've heard something about that a few times lol, Sure we would be able to arrange somewhere local to have a meet, But then if it's only volvo cars/owners then I can't imagine it would be as many as 100 turn up.
Will have to pop up one day with the volvo, Some ££££ bag scratched it before I took it off the road, Could do with seeing if it could be buffed out with anything or if it needs painting and to try get some pointers for when it comes to cleaning the old bus

Our rears are currently standard, but the Mrs's does want to change or do something with them, I'm thinking of tinting a spare set of rears to give a similar look to the fronts.
