Many years ago my car has been valeted and the engine sprayed with an engine lacquer!!! Is there any method of removal? I've tried everything I know and got it off small items but it's hard work!!! Any tricks?
It is tough going, I hate the bloody stuff, think I've had reasonable success with Acetone, not the cheap crap that you get to remove nail polish (has all sorts of other stuff in it) but the strong pure stuff you get from fibreglass wholesalers.
I used gasket remover, but you have to be quick getting it off or it removes the paint as well ..
