Socket size? Its 36mm
You need at least a meter long breaker bar and loads of strength to do those up. - its stupid tight! its 120nm + 60 degrees and that = FT
Indeed! Also undoing the nut is just as bad. I use a 6 foot long scaffold bar :D
I used a 3' breaker bar on mine, I was surprised how easy it was to get off. :)
i snapped my breaker bar trying to undo it to even start the job, so had to steal my dad's 3/4 inch kit- he does coaches .
Thanks everyone, I bought a 36mm socket, used my breaker bar and a 3ft cut off scaffold bar and with all 18 stone of me standing on the bar the nut finally came undone - i suppose being done up for 15 years and spinning for 138k miles it would be a bit shy to come undone!! Thanks for the advice everyone Rob
