went to see my local refurb guy today. he quote me £100 to chemical strip, blast then powder coat the inside part of my nebs. only issue there is i want volvo 177 silver and he say hes not sure can get the shade i want. but he did say he could chemical strip them blast them and primer them for £60. then all id have to do is flaten them and paint using 2k base and lacquer. he also gave me a bit advise when painting. showed me wear i need to keep the paint as light as possible. so they go back together with ut being tight.

already split on wheel just set about the other 3 wheels. most bolts came out with out a issue. there was 4 that felt to tight, so out came the butane gun. this done the trick came out no problem. off to powder coaters tomora

Hell No ...it was £100 PER WHEEL :( lol. They were split and then dipped then chrome powder coated. Expensive I know - but got the result I was after.

ouch. ive split them myself. getting centres powder coated and cause you only see a tiny bit of the outer rim im doing them silver. might end up painting the inside of wheel black. i fancy doing sumit mad with the outer lip. silver with a hint of pearl. but not sure if i will.

That's the only regret I have with mine - I should have had the inside powder coated in Black.

i think they would suit the Gul in a dark anthracite or near black colour.
