im wanting to clean my interior boot panels as they are rotten. what products and methods are recomended. im guessing jet washing or wet vac wont be possible
get them out the car....dont see any reason for not pressure washhing it all but. try the likes of carpet treatment- vanish foam etc. steam, carpet washers if youve got one...

We use vanish carpet cleaner on ours, it sprays on as a foam, work it into the carpet, allow to dry, and hoover out. You can do this whilst the panels are still in the car, but probably easier out of the car.
got all the above. first plan was to get out of the car. just didnt want the jet wash to warpbthe panels
I can't see that jet washing them would make them warp, but I'd put them back in the car to dry (in this heat with the boot open it shouldn't take long), that way they will be held in shape whilst drying.

This suggestion might be a bit expensive if only for your boot panels, but it might be worth hiring a Rug Doctor for a day (Tesco, Morrisons, Homebase etc). If you can get the use out of it doing the rest of thge mats and carpet, and the carpets in your house, it's good value for money. Costs about £22 to hire, plus about £10 for a bottle of detergent. Comes with a handheld gun that you can use in the car. I've not actually used it on a car yet, so not speaking from experience, but it does a great job on household carpets, and the handheld gun does work well (used it a few weeks ago to get rid of heavy soiling along the edge of a carpet where brick dust from drilling holes in the wall had stained a beige carpet, and wouldn't vacuum out).

Megs have a nice big stiff brush I use on such panels. Wet vac them - let them dry and give them a good brushing. Usually works for me.
