Hi all, the list of faults sorted so far with our £800 T4 are as follows 1 - Put the bulb back in the EML light socket and thus far hasn't come on. 2 - Found a heavy bracket hanging from a wiring loome at the front of the engine! worked out it was supposed to fit from engine block to the bottom of the inlet manifold, refitted. 3 - Removed 900ml of excess gearbox fluid, will do a flush soon. 4 - Found my BCS floating around on top of the gearbox, had to reroute the pipes round the correct side of the intake pipe and put them in the pipe clips and fit it correctly to the side of the airbox. 5 - Pair of drop links and refitted all the front underbody plastic panels correctly sorted the suspension rattles and knocks. 6 - A battery check showed up only 35% cranking power, it already had a diesel sized battery fitted so replaced with same size but got a slightly better 670amps (640 standard) this cured the slow starter. 7 - Fushed through various pipes the get rear washer and headlight washers working. Jobs to do (apart from bodywork) drivers wiper arm catching the bonnet when you open it and iPod connection. She's now drives sweet and has just completed a 180 mile motorway trip @30mpg with no dramas.

Your right, I did hold my breath with the EML light!! still can't believe I missed that when I test drove it! It's got me enthused to get the R up and running.
It's very rewarding & hope to see your r sorted again soon.
She was running when I took her off the road in Novenber and I had started her a couple of times then she just stopped running, thought it was fuel but no. Thoughts on here were cam senser but must investigate further.
