What is a safe boost pressure for a 1998 v70 t5 pre me7? Going to fit an MBC and increase the pressure a bit for some more horses

Wind it up a bit at a time til you get boost-cut then wind it back a bit ;)
16=17 psi if you have a map if not it will cut around 14psi, but never floor it till after 3.5k
get a map on then 1.4bar on standard rods lol
Ok the boost cut is when it cuts all the power right? And the reason for not flooring it before 3500 rpm, bending rods ?

If you leave dental records in the steering wheel, turn the boost down :)
Ok starting to get the hang of this :-)
there is no boost cut on a v70r only 850's
there is no boost cut on a v70r only 850's
Hmmm... My ME7 hit 21psi at 2200rpm on the rollers (first time - you were there mate) and didn't cut... I was blaming the plod spec ecu (and the fleabay mbc for the boost spike).

i Think i remember Hamish saying the p1s didnt have fuel cut... my 98 C doesnt
Ok so probably around 15 psi would be safe?
thats what i run on a stock map i find theres not much more gain after that, AFRs drop on mine
