can someone point me to a write up on changing rear window mech on my s70 r i've took door panel off and its like a armored tank behind there cheers

went down then wont come back up with both switches theres no noise from the motor at all

I`ll have a look how it comes off and if u need the motor U can have 1 for postage cost

i got lucky with the radio code i phoned volvo and they gave me the wrong one then i noticed it scratched into the top of the unit so thats sorted now

Image Image This is a BMW type connection.2 locking clips like on pic 1,access by removing a white plastic that covers the door lock,u`ll need a hook to pull the clips out from both sides,2nd clip is deeper in from the access,once the clips removed pop the runners out of the window connectors,undo all the 10mm bolts etc.

cheers i popped the clips but have no access to the runners as the window is stuck half way down lolo

You might have to make a tool up and access from the top as on the pic 2 if that makes sence.Something flatish so u can put in and twist to pop it off.
