New 850r owner

[ATTACH=CONFIG]20878[/ATTACH] Hi I'm Liam I'm from Stockport north west and 9 months ago ish I bought my first volvo an 850r red goes like a rocket, 3 owners 100000 miles tuned a bit told its 300bhp absolutely kills everything so very impressed. The level of comfort is amazing to!

It's apparently chipped straight through exhaust bailey dump valve and waste gate thing that seems far to complicated to remove and a remapped ecu came with the standard one in a box been considering but the original one back on

Why what whys it so complicated or why remove it? Not great with the spanners! Doing well to get 20 miles to the gallon and I get in trouble off the misses

Welcome. A change in your driving style may help your MPG a bit. A tuned engine is more economical if driven economically so, as above, going back to the standard ECU may make things worse. P1$$1ng - off the wife is what life's all about mate - live it ;)
