Loving the TFT display with interchangable dials etc.

Obviously the new owners are prepared to spend a few quid to raise the marques profile & market share.
heated steering wheel !
Not a touch I'd previously though I needed....

Range Rovers have had them for ages.

I'm not sure about them. I see the new V40 and XC60 as mini family wagons so they are hardly sexy. .... but I said that about the P2/3 and now I find myself looking at a 2005 V70R.....

once you've had one you'll always want one on a cold frosty morning, especially if your old and have iffy hands like mine when it's cold, wish I could have one in the T5-R

The exterior and interior may well be very nice, but if they dont drive as good as they look, there will still be a problem. Given the S40/V50 was a Focus in drag why did they not handle as they should?!
Likewise the P2 S60 will handle with a few choice IPD bits, but it should've been like that from the factory!
And yes, I hope someone up high is reading this... ;-)

All that tech yet the nastiest plastic wood I've ever seen. Makes that beautiful birch in the old 855R look like a Bentley.

Ill stick with the 240 and 850 i can honnestly say if i had the choice and i could not make any profit from the choices i made, ide stick with the 2 i have all ready got §§§§§§ having to try and fix them when they go wrong you only have to look at the 240 in a not impressed way and its fixed lol.

I like the newer models but i wouldn't buy one new volvos seem to come in to sensible money once there 7-10 years old funnilly enough my V50 was new when I joined this forum although I didn't see myself in anything but a v70 in years to come how things change. My only problem now is if you want performance and more than 4 cylinders and manual it seems diesel is the way to go and I'm not sure I will want a v60 d5 in years to come yet! Audi, merc and BM have the same issue but I believe there Auto boxs are a little better! Volvo build a manual T6 and keep a little t5 going manual please!

The S60 as nice as it is, looks like it has took a step backwards in design, that looks like it has devolved lol
