What's an 18T? Some on here talk numbers like a 16 (something) or an 18 (something) but what are they? Are they to do with boosting?

I am not trying to belittle you - far from it. If you want to upgrade the power then start from where you mean to go on. I had a quick look on the trader & you can buy 2 saffy auto T5 C70s for less than 1000 quid - there are nice/nicer examples if you change colour - depending on taste. E.g. there's a black 99 plate with fake pegs and projector headlights. What's the point of stick an 18T on LPT engine, which will need fortifying to start with - just to get to where the T5 starts? On book you're giving away 90 horses on an S60 T5 2.4 for starters. C70 is a nicer shape mind. In 9 years of being on the forum I must have seen this 100s of times - so take my advice sell the LPT before you start putting tints & other bits on it.

[QUOTE=JamesT5;575930]What's an 18T? Some on here talk numbers like a 16 (something) or an 18 (something) but what are they? So TD04-15G, 16T, 18T 19T are the part numbers & are down to the compressor housing size IIRC?
