Hi there, I've just bought a 240 GLT with 'Virgo' alloys, and was planning in the near future to swap them over to a set of Borbet 'A's. I think the 240 would really suit a deep dish rim, and since i dont fancy paying over £1000 for Eiker rims, then thought about some old skool Borbet 'A's. Now as far as im aware, the Virgo's are 6x15 with an offset of +20 The Borbet's are 7.5x16 with an offset of between +38 and +50.... As far as i can calculate (dont know if im right tho') the inner clearance on the new wheel would be around 40mm less than the Virgo's, and if thats the case, i dont really fancy running 40mm spacers....!!! If anyone can clarify for me, then it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
