Greetings!
Well, after lurking around the forum for a bit I decided to join.
Had my V reg 2.3T5 C70 Black Coupe now for about 6 months, 150k on the clock with FSH. Runs okay, but I think its lacking a bit power so I will be reading up in the various threads to see what can be done to check things over to make sure its running the best it can. Basically, the car is standard, it probably needs the turbo checking and possibly an upgraded one fitting (i'm definately a while a way from RICA). Reason I state its lacking power is cause I put it against my mates Vectra 1.9TD GSi SRi whatever it is thing, his as standard I think I can safely say I pisd on him, but when he got the ECU upgrade to push his car to 190BHP it was a tuff match, although the T5 still had a little more edge to it (he might state otherwise).
Anyway, I'm from up North East, under 30, over 25, I work in IT (hence why I have time for forums :-) ) for a very large corporate IT company.
I've been wanting a T5 for a few years and slowly got there after having cars like Vectra 2.0 SRi, Omega 2.5 V6, the T5 is definately the best and most luxurios. At first I wanted the 850 T5R, but when it came to the crunch I couldnt resist the C70 coupe.
So, I'll get some pics when I get round to washing the car, maybe even post a video or two too. Meanwhile, I'm off to get some grease to cure the damn turning groans!

Hi mate & welcome to the forums, if you have a spare £2000 you may as well get a new Hybrid Turbo and Rica and your Vectra friend will probably never see you again, well only from behind anyway.

Just give Adam a ring at VT! Send your ECU to him, and get him to do the 280-290BHP Rica. Ya can use Unleaded on that tune too, and it'll still fly :D

Just became a 850 T5 owner 2 weeks ago and love it.
Im also from Sunderland.
Any jobs goin in these IT workplaces of your's lol as im looking for Career change due to back injury.
