Hi there, Right here it comes - After removed last week my exhaust Box and replaced it for a straight through pipe I had last night the first long drive in the car. 120 miles. Now when I stayed on the same speed ( 80 to 90) on the motorway It sounded like it had some misfiring. Just all couple miles and not in order or permanent. Just sometimes. Really weird. The car had this single misfiring before on traffic lights but every time Just one. And not all the time. Just sometimes. It is a v70 2,5 20 valve automatic fwd non turbo, non me7, I replaced Oil, Oil filter, Spark plugs ( original Volvo ), Airfilter in October last Year, less then 5000 Miles. Would something need to be set up while the box is removed or do I miss Something here? I just had the sparks out and checked the resonance (Ohm) on it but all 5 are fine. When I bought the car last year, the last owner did only 540 miles between 1 year ' Mot. And owned it only for one year. There was a lot of calendars in the glovebox with services and things the last owner before did on it. Camp belt was exchanged by 92 k according to this books. Ay thoughts on that??? Thanks

Hello mate. I don't expect that any setup changes would be required for your new exhaust - it might be purely coincidence that the misfire is showing up now, or it might be more apparent with the new exhaust. Sounds like you are up-to-date with the service consumables as well. Camp belt replaced - something like this? (Sorry, couldn't resist it!)
