Is the original front bumper on the 850 (1996) a two-piece jobbie? Looks like the grey bit is seperate from the body coloured lower part. Have scuffed the top bit and am hoping to only have to replace that.
yes they are seperate
You will need to drill out the rivets on the wheel arch, undo the screws behind it - at the front (torx bit T20) and then carefully prize it away. Justin has done it a few times and would be good to ask.

Forgot to mention that the above instructions is for removing the bottom painted section of the bumper cover only.
