I've got 5 Comets in Anthrite in fair condition with 5 Goodyear Eagle F1's (the only tyre i use) all less than a year old (tyres) good tread. £400 for all 5 so you have a spare if you need one.

I suspect they haven't sold because imo they'r much to expensive, for that price I would expect 4 tyres with a minimum of 5mm tread on them, I think the offer of Woodys was a very reasonable one.

claymore is right mate, i would take Woodys offer... I doesn't seem to matter what you think they are worth its what somebody else will pay for them. I know its dissapointing as they do look really good and you have invested time and money into them.
If it helps you to decide i got £300 for these... all 5 tyres were less than a year old with minimum of 5mm tread. We are only trying to help you and offer you advice matey please don't take this the wrong way.

Thanks G, very happy with them. Was cheaper than refurbishing the existing set on the car and also finding a replacement for the buckled one. Singles seem quite hard to come by that aren't structurally damaged/scrap fodder. Hope to swap them over this week :)
