I am thinking of going to santa pod this weekend. To all of you that have been, what are they like at enforcing the 100mph and over helmet rule. There maybe a chance i could break a 100mph but not by much! How do they remember that on your last run you went over a ton?do they give you a different band when you go to collect your time slip? Its just that i dont own a helmet,i could borrow one from a friend but he lives about 45mins away :troutslap.I have had a look on the RWYB website and seen pics of fast cars that are easily capable of 100 plus traps with drivers not wearing helmets!
thanks

It is really up to the race marshall.. the 100mph is only a guide for them...

None of our lot have ever had to wear a helmet Elliot and I have seen many a car hit the 100mph mark without wearing one so its no hard and fast rule.
If you do go let us know how you get on ;) (or come with us to Avon Park next weekend)
