Hi,
Has anyone got usfull hints on which air filter best suits the V70 (05 reg) as I am about to embark on a bit of tuning, it is intended to be used with MTE remap and Ferrita s/steel exhaust coupled with 3" down pipe.

Use a big cone filter and sit it in the bottom half of the airbox. Great sound and unless you're into getting a few extra hundredths of a second on the strip, superb performance.

I put my standard airbox and filter back on on saturday ('cos the airbox lid is sprayed like the rest of the engine plastics) and took it off when I got where I was going 'cos I was bored with the lack of noise and bottom end pull :D

Each to their own.
I'm too old for the recirc dump noise and found my car was a pain in traffic with the K&N fitted. Sooo slooooow until the IATs came down again.

Pipercross panel filters are good, not much more than a paper filter. The best bit about panel filters is they don't lose there efficiency as quick as the paper filters.

Had a K & N panel filter on for a few thousand miles now, well pleased.
