Sad Times :( Took this from my ebay ad... First off......reason for sale is that i now travel an 80 mile round trip to work everyday, and as such, the Volvo is no longer practical. it was fine when i did a 15 mile round trip, but now i need something a bit smaller. Driven nicely, she's good on fuel, but 80 miles a day on a motorway isn't going to be cheap! Iv owned the car for 6 months, and in all that time, she has not needed or wanted for ANYTHING. All i have had is a new set of tyres, oil, filter & spark plug change...When they say volvo's are reliable they aren't joking. Engine - This is the T5 model, with 240 BHP, she pulls like a train, the engine sounds lovely, the gearbox is great, no knocks or bangs or smoke, it has covered 135k and could easily go unto 200k. The car has had the EMT unit changed about a year and a half ago with the upgraded unit and software the new units have yellow sticker, and there is paperwork to back this up. Same goes for the MAF sensor. Bodywork - Generally very nice, still has a nice shine, polishes up very well, That being said, as a 13 year old car, she does have a few "war wounds" in the shape of a scratch down the drivers side, not noticeable really, but worth mentioning, some stone chipping at the front (bonnet and bumper) and a couple of places have had a once over with a rattle can, nothing bad, still looks great, but worth mentioning. In general though - still looks great and gets plenty of comments. Interior - Silent! no rattles, the seats are very comfortable, a few screeches here and there, nothing major. the leather seats are in good condition, though the drivers side does have some bolster wear as they usually do. the steering wheel has a cover on which matches the rest of the interior nicely (the steering wheel itself is quite dirty - hence the cover) it has a Momo gearknob - at £5 from halfords it was rude not to really, plus its got a nicer feel than the standard one. It also has the original C70 car mats which fit perfectly and look almost new. In my ownership i have added a few bits like: Later facelift grill JVC Double Din stereo with USB Genuine volvo Strut Brace (this makes a big difference to the handling) Painted calipers (gold, look very nice) Turbo Boost gauge (i fitted this to check the turbo was boosting properly, and it does, it boosts at a healthy 12 - 13 PSI) K&N Panel air filter (i have these on all my cars as it helps fuel consumption from experience) stainless steel exhaust tailpipe (i didn't want a noisy one so i opted for a clip on tailpipe, you wouldn't know it was standard) Volvo numberplate surrounds The car has some service history, the owner handbook, 1 key and 1 fob. All the tyres have stacks of tread left, the fronts only replaced a month ago. the tax is due at the end of July and can be taxed at new owners cost. V5 and MOT certificate present. HPI clear I can't say i will swop, but i am after a smaller sportyish car, no bigger than a 1.8, astra, focus, clio, etc etc...try me maybe?! Dont offer a silly price for it, just dont. I'm not going to give it away, i could happily keep the car, its fantastic! Any more questions please just ask via PM, £800 ono preferred swap! Offers considered!
