Those shock absorbers look like very impressive bits of kit! Wouldn't like to have to replace then though!
Luckily ours were replaced before we bought our R. :D
Yep just brought an s60r, good spec as well, so joined the club
Nice one mate, look forward to seeing it at the next softies meet.
When you say the quality isn't great, I take it you mean the interior? Or maybe the angle gear collar? Pmfsl. It's nice to see a good review, clarkson wasn't soo keen...
And you worry about your etm...
....and my immobiliser issue the other day!! pmsl oh,and i quite like the orange interiors...they're really growing on me...cant afford an "R"....SHE would kill me...
i'l have to put mine on the rolling road, find out how much it has, from speaking with the owner a systems analyst for banks in london (always a good sign) its a little bit tuned
....and my immobiliser issue the other day!! pmsl oh,and i quite like the orange interiors...they're really growing on me...cant afford an "R"....SHE would kill me...
Another convert :) one day all interiors will be orange. :hilarious:
A second quicker thqn a "standard" t5, mines an overweight, reinforced explod with brown denso injectors that does 90 at 3k rpm ;).... That's still lighter than an R :D I can see the appeal of the atacama (as much as Steevie wonder can) the contrasts are perfect... I have one last visual upgrade for the Sweed that will make or break her...

Pmsl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ooh, a Stihl stonecutter with hoselock water cooling - nice, but no.
Shame, I particularly like the colour scheme. :D
Is yours tuned at all stribo?
No mate, just removed the airbox cover, and fitted a replacement K&N filter.
did that make much difference?
did that make much difference?
noise old boy, noise :D [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAglHW1xT1I[/ame]
Interior's top class, and the angle gear's a myth :P Best of all, a second quicker to 60 than a T5. :P
What about 0-100. Think id fancy the t5. But i would say that
and the angle gear's a myth
& i guess cracking liners never happen either lol
& i guess cracking liners never happen either lol
Oh yes, I've got cracking liners, don't think I've ever had liners so good. :haha:
lol, good comeback
Those shock absorbers look like very impressive bits of kit! Wouldn't like to have to replace then though!
There no more expensive than some of the after market top end kit. You can buy them direct from Monroe for £175 each now. They used to be £435 each from the dealer but i think they have calmed down abit now thou.
Another convert :) one day all interiors will be orange. :hilarious:
Not as long as my nice GOBI interior is around ;-p
Those shock absorbers look like very impressive bits of kit! Wouldn't like to have to replace then though!
LOL I just did, all 4! ouch.
Not as long as my nice GOBI interior is around ;-p
You mean beige. :P
You mean beige. :P
No, GOBI. Beige is an Austin colour from the 70/80s era. ;-p
No, GOBI. Beige is an Austin colour from the 70/80s era. ;-p
And looks very much like Gobi. :D
LOL I just did, all 4! ouch.
I did too, last year. I paid £1240, but that included all four wheels being rebalanced and Front support plates.
