After the problems at Malory park, I've been thinking of ways to cool the disks down, my thoughts are either water cooling or even co2, has to be a cheaper option to bbk.

Duct's are fine on a track where there is plenty of forward momentum, but I'm thinking about prescott in August which is short straights and heavy braking.

I have no way of compressing the air, I do have everything from my old co2 intercooler spray bar.

would spraying water or co2 on the discs not cause them to warp or crack as you will be trying to change the disc temps from hot to cold in split seconds , expansion and contraction of the metal may result in early failure,and even whilst being driven ? i understand what you meen about air flow, f1 did some thing on the external side of the wheel forcing air through the wheel to cool brakes,but again,as you say, not sure you would achieve much in the distance your driving,
Problem is they're best part of £150, I know you get what you pay for, but I like to think out of the box, :)

have you binned the stone guard from behind the discs
I think that using something like water or c02 will cause cracking because of the sudden extreme temperature change, although i do think there are possibilties out there. I'm sure you'll come up with something. My garage always thought it was a bit stupid having the brake fluid reservoir sat right above the turbo.
