Hi all, Done a quick search but no sure answer. I'll be buying a haynes book of lies tomorrow anyhow, but, whats the volvo specified intervals between cambelts 2007 v70 t5. 90k seems to be a number popping up a bit (don't worry I wouldn't let it go that far), but 60k seems to be a happier and more sensible number. Anyway what do the swedes say? Thank you in advance John

Yep took the plunge. outside is nice and straight, inside is how you would expect. Its on 119k so got me thinking. Wanted to use it for a month or so give it a bit of a shake down and see if anything needed attention. Then a full service with a belt kit if applicable in July.

Will do, any one know how hard the timing belts are to do on these tubs?

Post 513351 by M-R-P on 2012-06-16 21:42:18

It's been done but my local indy charged 183 quid to do it. The kit itself is about 120.
year or 20000 mile warranty. they're doing my clutch on monday for 420.
How much from a dealer are they not cheaper than that?

Post 513447 by M-R-P on 2012-06-17 00:33:24

it's roughly 420, 7 hours at £45 an hour + VAT. I doubt the dealer would be cheaper and they probably wouldnt let me supply my own parts. They charge £800 for a flywheel...
