i wouldnt put components in unless making special pods for them... you would just tear them. you could blank the other 4 off, subs are cheap really... ebay, its the right volume and port size for 8 subs (for best sound)
20 quid for it as is...
if you want some pods making for components i can make these for a small fee... also blanking plates if you wish, i dont have any fibreglass matt or resin in stock, if you wanted that doing i would need the costs covering upfront, ive got time and enjoy the work so will do it for beer money ;)

yeah i hear what your saying,its not really the subs that are expensive its the bloody amp to drive them lol where abouts in the world are you,coz i wouldnt trust posting it for obvious reasons and if your not a million miles away ill take it off your hands and will possibly want some door cards made for the 850 aswell,but ive got to get the car here first and check its all good before the door cards.

Hmmmm, Just remembered, I have a large box downstairs, with 2 12" diamond audio subs in it and a 1000W Kenwood amp bolted to the back...

to be honest i dont think it wouldnt sound too great with only 2 in, the box is as big as it gets for the volvo, its made flush against the rear seats and just enough room to pull the floor flap (where i screw my amps)
this is how it was a while back, i run 2 amps a larger jbl mono and a little juice for some 6x9 boxes that are on the top of the sub box. i was running i really nice genesis but its poorly :(
and my old subs, theyve been in a car that have been burned by thieves , and two others but refuse to die. this is the box i am currently using (made by your truly)

Well, the box I keep stubbing my toe on when I leave the house Is one of those factory made jobs - angled face and grey carpet over it. It weighs a bloody ton and, although I've been granted permission by the owner of said subs, I'm too lazy to fit them :)
Looks like it sounds good tho

yeah i found some big amps on ebay from the US running 2400w RMS :O all for under £200 two of them and also i found a gel battery with built in 100 farad power cap was cheap too £/db i think i was onto a winner.
im in shrewsbury.... and shes parked outside the window, so i dont worry much.

its a very hard box to measure the volume but i was always aiming for around 8cb.ft, the port was cut to give low range bass (7.5"Dia) using some, sightly on the larger side woofers (dual voice coil 800w rms) was the plan.
