Visited jvk-tuning today.(denmark). Dyno day. And this beast was on the dyno. It is build by Autotech Sweden, and now bought by a young guy from denmark. http://s1147.photobucket.com/albums/o547/shamran2410/t5/?action=view¤t=21042012026.mp4

Goes to show how strong the m56 box is! I love how the car looks almost stock and immaculate.
I wonder what do u have to do to get that power.
Open your wallet and let loose about £10,000 in parts, that what!!
Open your wallet and let loose about £10,000 in parts, that what!!
Indeed and the rest..... That's some very impressive power, one criticism would be that I'd want a little bit of a better brake setup than what is fitted in the shots of the car on the ground.. Unless of course they have been upgraded since that picture was taken :)

Post 489739 by Shamran on 2012-04-22 13:32:46

The new owner paid almost 14000 for the car..... A lot i think....
Open your wallet and let loose about £10,000 in parts, that what!!
I just opened my wallet and there is £5note and lots of receipts for near that amount,is that any good lol

If you had the money to do this, who would you trust to do all the tuning work required? :)

Post 489814 by Kingsford G on 2012-04-22 16:46:10

Most of it by myself including engine rebuild, just would need to take it for a custom map set up.And a really good engineering place to hone matching pistons and everything else.
Most of it by myself including engine rebuild, just would need to take it for a custom map set up.And a really good engineering place to hone matching pistons and everything else.
But what if you were not very good with spanners?

Post 489826 by Kingsford G on 2012-04-22 17:03:45
But what if you were not very good with spanners?
That`d cost alot on labour mate.I think AndyR is the man to ask,he`s like vpcuk wikipedia lol and I think hopefully he`s gonna forge his engine and got place in mind to do so.Give him a shout mate,he`s a top man.

I do not have unlimited funds at the moment to do this! Wish I had!
I was only wondering who would you take your car to! I do not have unlimited funds at the moment to do this! Wish I had!
If u was near by that I`d help.I`ve done engines in the past using just a better pistons and rings and always had more power than factory states out of them by 10% but could`ve been more if I new a good engineering place.
Open your wallet and let loose about £10,000 in parts, that what!!
I could believe that, my engine has cost about £3,000-4,000 and that will only have about 400bhp

Post 490016 by t5_monkey on 2012-04-22 22:52:30

I have to say I can't imagine a 600bhp FWD being better than a 400bhp... harier maybe.... but I bet it's a pig to get around a circuit.
I have to say I can't imagine a 600bhp FWD being better than a 400bhp... harier maybe.... but I bet it's a pig to get around a circuit.
A dyno man was talking about one where the engine was somehow moved back and or something (I just missed a bit of it) well that 850 was running alot of power and surprising everyone on a track.

Very impressive!
