Whip the tyres off, sand em down and spray them yourself ;)

Post 474993 by T5frankie on 2012-03-17 21:09:31

I think wheel works uk in Crawley are very good. I'll be using them as soon as I stop finding other places to spend my money!

I am very happy with BJV Engineering who have done a couple of sets for me now. But they are in Hertfordshire so again too far / courier required.

Post 475021 by T5frankie on 2012-03-17 21:40:06

i do get around being a lorry driver to certain areas anyway

Post 475034 by LiamT4 on 2012-03-17 21:54:59

Do you have a pefection alloys in your area? The did an amazing job on my bbs craters. They weren't just curbed, they had lots of corrosion and had a slight wobble at 65mph that 2 tyre places couldn't sort properly. Looked brand new after they had finished with them and cured the wobble.

Post 475041 by Stedman on 2012-03-17 22:01:18

BJV did an 'ok' job on my dad's wheels. Finish wasn't incredible but then again, I can't remember the price he paid :)

Go to BJV Engineering near Hemel. I get all mine done down there plus they do a good deal and do my Aston Martin wheels:-)

Hamish knows a guy who does mine - but properly - grit blasted & poly coated in a wide range of colours. Just did a set of canistos at 50 quid a corner. Quality job. He also did my chrome silver Comets, which you've seen on Betsy.
