Its not as bad as it used to be. In the US Volvo owners had a class action suit against Volvo cars & Won.
I've been tuning up my ME7 C70 - Betsy - 1999 - check her out in m' garidge
No Poo was involved.

Hi , i had a saffron c70 , it was a fantanstic car, much better than the rust bucket merc clk, or bmw, just a pity that stupid motormag writers seen to think that anything German is the best.
Where else can you get such curvy lines for so little money, even convertibles are dirt cheap now compared to the German rubbish.
Great underated car, hope you enjoy.

Welcome! I bought my first C70 from Stratstone Volvo in Derby! I ended up bringing the saleswoman home a couple of months later too. But then she got all weird and mongy so had to let her go.

Any idea where I can get the pip from the front grill to be airbox?! Its obvious someone's forgot to stick it back on! Failing that I have some metal piping il stick on somewhere

The first thing is the wheels need balancing, got silly vibrations on motorways, might get them to check the tracking too. (do the rears need balancing too? i know thats probably a daft question)
Need a new spotlight as one is cracked, and today i should be getting the airbox pipe which someone forgot to pout back on!
There is a deep scuff on the front bumper, so il get some cheap filler and a rattle can and spend half a day doing that.
a general clean up of the interior as its cream leather so a bit musky here an there, and make the engine bay tarted up a bit
I might get a panel filter as from past experience these make the MPG go up 1 or 2 miles.
At some point i may get the aux belt and related tensioners checked for the steering as it is a bit whiney, but iv heard this is a common issue and not worth worrying about too much?

Get a cone filter if you want nice sound effects. If its a turbo (preferably a T5) the recirc valve sounds luuurrrvely through a nice, big cone filter ;)
