fair enough, looks like its just u an me mark haha
Still a meet, but a mini-mini meet.
Still a meet, but a mini-mini meet.
haha yea! smitsooonnnn u going to cadwell???
haha yea! smitsooonnnn u going to cadwell???
No dont think so mate.
There will be a lot of peeps at Cadwell - so why don't you all come along?
I was tempted but maybe just a bit to far to travel.
haha i like the only bit lol
haha i like the only bit lol
Suppose i just did 140 miles this afternoon just for the crack so only another 62 miles.
It's only just over half a tank of fuel, each way!
Suppose i just did 140 miles this afternoon just for the crack so only another 62 miles.
That's one way though mate.

Or you drive to Harwood, and we go down in mine? Could you drive mine with your insurance?
Or you drive to Harwood, and we go down in mine? Could you drive mine with your insurance?
I feel a small road trip coming on here.
I feel a small road trip coming on here.
I'm up for it. I go to Grimsby, and it's not far past there. The doors can wait! If we could sort the MBC/boost gauge, I would be happier, or I just go as I am!
I feel a small road trip coming on here.
maybe....have to how things go :)
Or you drive to Harwood, and we go down in mine? Could you drive mine with your insurance?
lol i can drive any car bud lol
Car share given the distance & cost would be a clever idea. Most insurers will allow 3rd party only if you have your own fully comp. policy.
Car share given the distance & cost would be a clever idea. Most insurers will allow 3rd party only if you have your own fully comp. policy.
trade policy bud ;) lol
Even better.
lol i know, and its cheaper for me to have a traders than it was to have a personal insurance, in fact its £800 more for me to insure the volvo on its own
lol still wont keep up with me tho ;) lol
Probably won't keep up with you mate cos I don't press the accelerator pedal hard enough. I'm a diesel driver remember!!!
I'm a diesel driver remember!!!
lol should be pressing that pedal harder then lol
lol should be pressing that pedal harder then lol
I'm trying to, but 95% of my driving is trying to squeeze the maximium mpg out of my diesel, but then I need to put a different head on when I drive the T5 and squeeze the minimum mpg out of my petrol!
Who's a definate for meeting on saturday then?
The pod arrived today mate, but its the wrong one and has come with a boost gauge as well(£44.95), but I only paid £9.95. Now me being Mr Honest has told them that they've sent me the wrong parcel, but asked them to get the pod here for Friday and I'll send the gauge/pod back. Too honest?

Absolutely pi--ing down here at Home, and Morecambe is 40 miles away, so I just hope the weather is better over there for today's 'mini meet'. Putting new back doors on the p1 V70 T5.
Well the weather was much better for the meet up, but still bloody cold! managed to get a fair few bits done, new wheels on mine, many thanks to foammanmark, got the rear doors onto marks, tinted the windows...again...got the boost gauge on with i must say is a very very nice boost gauge, forgot to get pics of that, but here is a couple pics of the 3 cars, again lol:
all in all not a bad day, but we need more people to come to the next one lol, so will make a new thread shortly for next months morecambe meet, and hopefully more of us can come along :)

Shame there wasn't a better turnout, I guess you went for quality over quantity;) Glad the weather held out for you.:D
Shame there wasn't a better turnout, I guess you went for quality over quantity;) Glad the weather held out for you.:D
It hailed a bit (just before we washed my motor as that was the last one to be washed) which made it rather cold on the hands!! When we took the picys, the wind was so cold, the wind chill factor must have been about minus 5. Got my 2 new back doors on and the boost gauge, Daza-B swapped his wheels and all cars had a good wash. So not a bad day.
snowed a bit too! lol
snowed a bit too! lol
Took me ages to warm up after the meet, even with the heater in the car on full, I was still cold when I got Home. Nice to have a Cumbria/Carlisle meet in the Spring/Summer, and some of our Scottish friends might make that.
Mark did you get a piccy of my car on saturday when we were sat outside daz's?
Think so mate. Do I need to pay you for the privilege? LOL
Think so mate. Do I need to pay you for the privilege? LOL
Well i was thinking along those lines. lol. No a was just wondering if you were going to pop it up on here mate seen as my car was looking all nice and clean.
Well i was thinking along those lines. lol. No a was just wondering if you were going to pop it up on here mate seen as my car was looking all nice and clean.
Here you go! I was a little too close to fit the whole car in, but I was too cold to get out of the car by this stage! Impressed that you remembered me taking the picys. The car wash people did a fantastic job for you!!
Cheers mate. Yes you and jamie made a good job of washing it. Thanks. My rear wheel fairly fill the arches when you see them there. No wonder they rub and that was with an empty boot apart from my sub/amp.
Cheers mate. Yes you and jamie made a good job of washing it. Thanks. My rear wheel fairly fill the arches when you see them there. No wonder they rub and that was with an empty boot apart from my sub/amp.
Least I could do for you when you fitted that gauge for me mate. Are the wheels rubbing when you just go over bumps, or more generally? I owe you about another 10 car washes yet.
Na mate you dont owe me owt for doing it. I enjoy working on car's. Im sure ill need something one day. They dont rub as much now since i fixed the arch liners to the top of the outer arch but they still rub over bumps and if you boot it round a corner.
