Have you checked what your actual speed is when the clock says 100mph? Best way is to use your sat nav, think my car has to be going 105mph on the clock to have a 100mph gps speed.

Well I tried this today up the drive way... Ahem. Even with the cutting out problem it didn't go too bad. I held it longer than I should have in 3rd to try and bypass the dead spot in 4th and it worked! Really should make sure my phones on video rather than picture though. Lol. Will try again tomorrow morning. Only hit 1 bar too, Must be the revs :(

Not sure, But it was quicker than my visiters that were on the drive. Lol. Will try again tomorrow :) Wondering if I need to adjust the actuator to suit the EBC. Still wound up to suit the BCS and 304.

Who needs less weight? 5.6 secs in a fat boy P2 (GPS) - 1750Kg.

How are you guys filming the speedo? on your phones I presume but how do you get it to stay in there?

Post 456077 by T5frankie on 2012-01-29 09:51:42
How are you guys filming the speedo? on your phones I presume but how do you get it to stay in there?
by "hypotheticlly speaking" holding it

Post 456080 by cherry1809 on 2012-01-29 09:59:43

I balanced mine on the cowling. I could of held it as I was on private land anyway. :)

Post 456083 by jardon on 2012-01-29 10:10:08

I can wedge my HTC in the dash so no holding required. My speedo is quite out so I measure 67-109 or datalog it using Softloader (my canbus data reads same as GPS but adds ~10% for the speedo!). Tyre size makes some but very little difference - I would need huge tyres to fix it. Frankie that is nippy - mine only appears quicker as I can do 100+ in 3rd so no gear change. Your 60-120 is 13.5 secs - not too shabby (Mine makes it in 12.4 secs - though the speedo would say 10.5!!).

Jc Viggens car did it in 4 secs. He has a thread on here somewhere. 60-120 in <8 secs. It was a stripped out racer but still very quick. I'd be interested to see what I could squeeze out of mine now as 5.6 secs was in the summer - I could also bin the rear interior to get it nearer P1 weight.

Some run a garrett, Some don't. Mine did. :) There are a few that run 400 plus bhp, But not sure what events they attend. I think it's pretty much the newer ones that just polish. I'm a firm believer that if you've got it, Bloody well use it! I know mines quite rare, But I'm not gonna wrap it in cotton wool, It's my daily! Lol.
when i had my saab aero last year i joined 3 forums, all rubbish no one hardly ever spoke to each other, very boring and nowt happening
I found that with Saabscene. Bruv said it's a bit clicky on UKSaabs, But not too bad.
