Hi Guys My C70 has just turned 72000 miles so I am looking to carry out the necessary service I have checked service book and searched online but cannot find a service schedule check list I am changing engine oil & filter this weekend and would appreciate any advice as to what else needs looking at Many thanks in anticipation
has the cambelt been changed yet??
72K is borderline for the cambelt. Have you changed your pollen filter recently (last 12 months?). Plugs, coolant & air filter.
Many thanks Dave Cambelt done at 58k, plugs done at 60k, I will change coolant and air filter. Is it worth going for an OEM or K&N panel filter?
I thought plugs should be changed every 12K miles??
Another quick question which may be obvious, handbook suggest 0.9 litres oil in the oil cooler, is this only fitted to autos?

engine needs filling as per your handbook and this includes the oil cooler, the auto trans system also has an oil cooler and when you fill this the oil cooler may hold 0.9 ltrs but box needs more than that. oil cooler for engine oil is on the drivers side of the radiator and not sure on auto's as never had one but guess this goes into radiator also
Make sure you use good synthetic oil it's the blood of the engine and a genuine filter
