Yes, it has 6 HDMI in (five rear, one front) and one out to TV as well as two optical audio in

I presume so, it has six HDMI in and one out but I cannot get full DD sound from my ps3 or sky HD box without an optical connection so maybe not (although I don`t think sky HD puts out DD through the HDMI anyway)

best to double check the 3d compatability as the 607 is a 2009 model, so may not support it.
Shame, i was looking for one of these last year as onkyo make very good AV stuff.

Just had a look at the specs in the manual, HDMI is 1.3a so it should pass 7.1 DTS etc. Most of it is gobbeldygook to me though, hope you know what this means ??

The 607 isnt 3d compatible. I was going to get the 607 but went for the 606 as didnt have the funds lol. Cracking bit of kit though. Rik if you cant get DD through PS3 then you are doing something wrong buddy. You shouldnt need to use optical for it.
