i own a 98 s40 t4, when the engine is up to correct temperature and i floor the throttle in 2nd gear and upwards 3rd, 4th etc between 2000 and 3000rpm it hesitates and feels like it could be miss fireing, also when stationary and you rev the engine between the same rpm's as above there is a ticking/tapping noise (deffo not the injectors) its just had its 80k service and had new plugs itg filter and oil etc, just wondered if any 1 could shed any light on what it could be, when its cold its fine no tapping and runs fine.
