northampton balloon festival from the 18 to 21 a great day out for the kids theres the fair,250 trade stalls the balloons take off about 6pm then they have a the balloon glow a little later then the fireworks but they dont start till about 10 so it could be a long day if you have very young children :B_steerin

Went a few years ago - agreed, it is a fab day out and well worth a visit!
It's not just for the kids - Dads will be impressed too! Some of those balloons are unreal!

No I live 13 miles ish outside Northampton. I didn't go in the end. Long story....
