My missus won't come to any car event where she can't sit down after a day in 2002(approx) at the Birmingham Motorshow where we did all areas without stopping once only to grab a drink at a van. She collapsed in the flat once back and slept for hours.
yeah a bit
275 hp/317 ibft? with that sort of boost on a 19T and a standard map..

Post 424704 by LiamT4 on 2011-11-12 14:45:45
at the wheels so you saying about 340 at the fly? i wish lol
I go for about 15%loss, which would be about 310bhp which is more than daves, so probably not then! lol 260bhp then, must be good otherwise you wouldn't have said that saffys are the best!
On a standard map....? What is your exact current spec?
thats what i thought but adam has had the car for 4 years and i had to drill off the strap to get it out so is standard
Same make of rolling road Rica used to test there off the shelf maps ;)
is that good or bad?

Post 424725 by AndysR on 2011-11-12 14:55:58
is that good or bad?
Well.. people constantly knock Rica for quoting 304 hp for a stage one map on an 850... you tell me A rolling road is good for fault diagnoses and as a rough guide, I am not knocking the results you achieved but it does seem a little unrealistic for a standard map running not much more than standard boost.. Still as you say bring on the custom mapping :)

Post 424726 by AndysR on 2011-11-12 14:57:36

What were your figures at the wheels, did you manage to see those at all?

Was a good day and nice to catch up with everyone again, all cars looking great as always, although Niles your cleaning efforts put yours to shame ;) but I liked the wind deflectors. Special thanks to Niles, Sonic? and Emlyn for making the trip despite the distance and thanks to Steve for the ride in your V70, just shows that diesel's aren't the poor relation anymore with these modern D5's :) Good luck with the pcv change Steve, fingers crossed it resolves your problem.

Thanks to all. It was great to meet you all and thanks for the comments on the phase three. Sorry to have lowered the tone by bringing the only diesel but..... 460 nm of torque.... She does pull well. Oh and for the record I now know she pulls 35mph/1000rpm in sixth. Not going to say what RPM I did on the way home(if you know what I mean:-) )
