What is the difference between " straight outlet from turbine" and " conic outlet from turbine"
the conical outlet uses a loose flange on the downpipe to compress it into the turbo making the seal. The normal straight outlet is fixed onto the downpipe. Conical is found on the very early T-5's, they then changed to the straight outlet which changed to the larger angled outlet when they went ME7
Which is better and can you change if necessary .
you can change the exhaust housing on the turbo by splitting it, the best is the angled outlet. Straight is 2.5" & angled is 3" diameter
