just messing around the other day down our drive... would you guys say it was quick, ok, or slow for the T5? O and it only had the MBC fitted then. ta http://www.flickr.com/photos/63784785@N04/6007567249/

video timer doesn't work, but the book 0-60 is about 7-7.1 so anything quicker than that is an improvement. I got 0-60 of 5.7 with a MBC & decat

hmmmm decat next then....its about 6.5/6.6 sec as the moment running everything standard baring MBC. Will get vac pipes done and the 16T fitted and see were i am at then ta
LINK
Ok, being completely dense now, which bit of the 1/4 mile time is the first 8th...?

0-60 is a vulgarity for those with lesser cars. Now 50-100, that is a measure...or if off the strip, 50-70 ;)
Ok, being completely dense now, which bit of the 1/4 mile time is the first 8th...?
on the timing slip the 1/8mile is the first time down the list thats also got a speed with it
on the timing slip the 1/8mile is the first time down the list thats also got a speed with it
5.57 seconds 1st run 5.36 seconds 2nd run I think that's pretty respectable time for an auto and a nice improvement from standard :)
5.57 seconds 1st run 5.36 seconds 2nd run I think that's pretty respectable time for an auto and a nice improvement from standard :)
I think using the timing slips for 0-60mph are floored. I'll use yours as an example. If your car is doing 0-60mph in 5.4 seconds then (going by the 1/4mile time and speed) its taking around 9secs to go from 60-100mph, which isn't very impressive, considering its power. I know that this also has its floors, but i would imagine that if you were to take it out and record it, i'd expect it to have a very low 6s, 0-60,and take at most 8s, 60-100.

0-60 on my Bluebird was timed at Trax at 6.2 seconds, And is probably a bit quicker than the Volvo due to weight differences. Volvo would leave it for dust after about 130 though, Although I had it off the clock at 150 and still pulling :D

That calculater is way off, said i did a 4.7 in my old volvo at avon lol

Extrapolated data does make assumptions that are unreliable - just look at Torquestats calculator. Using the speedo and a stopwatch/video is more more accurate and it's easy enough to calibrate your speedo with a gps phone app or tom tom, etc. My speedo reads 67mph at a true 60mph. I think the OP has done well.
