get an android phone & a 16 quid ODBII adapter - tada! No installing required & reads directly from the ECU
PS I do have a gauge I no longer want/ need but I need to uninstall the transponder from the car - as I never got around to getting it to work properly - comes with fitting instruction & I will throw in the pod for free.
