As there are no more public RWYB at Avon Park till October now - I was hoping to do the next round of the VPCUK drag championship at Santa Pod. Any interest? According to the site - http://www.rwyb.co.uk/dates.php - you can save a tenner by signing up in advance - at the online shop http://www.santapodshop.com/

With a national meet incorporated? Everyone get there Saturday night for BBQ's and tent erecting? :)

You can call it that if you like but I just wanna race! It is national as anyone can come.

Possibly Dave, depends if my car is sorted by then. Only problem with Santapod is not being able to watch the other cars race as you are obstructed by the grand stand.

I realise this - & that is why I prefer Avon but there is nothing else till October, apart from TRAX

Sorry Dave i doubt i can make this one, don't think i can go to another 1/4 mile without my car and racing it's just too painful lol, it should be on the road by next week but will need to put a 1000 "running in" miles on it before mapping and this is one thing i dare not rush.

It's not my favourite but I am keen to get my times down. I may not be available for October.

[quote=Wobbly Dave;398823]It's not my favourite but I am keen to get my times down. I got to get this barge into the low 14s, even if it blows up i will get it lol.. the potential is there, just something not jelling it all together. Gary.

Well I am eager to try out some small changes (to be revealed) to see if I can get the time down. I have the traction but just need a quick bottom 1/8th mile. My 60ft's at Avon despite the heat were around 2.5 seconds - I even had a 2.4 I am determined to show that the ME7 can be competitive
