Very Gangsta! Are you pleased? How does it compare with the T5?
If I'm brutally honest, it knocks the T5 into a cocked hat in terms of driving pleasure, but that's a forgone conclusion really on an 11 year old car. The T5 however, feels much rawer & old school & is way faster. They really are a brute of an engine & I will really miss it when it goes. If I could afford to keep it & run both, I would, but I've always wanted a beemer, this one came along at the right price, I fell in love with it & bingo, the Volvo has to go. Life's too short not to. If only they'd made the T5 RWD.... Cheers, Gwaredd.
It would be nice if the new S80 was to be RWD V10 D and V10T would be awsome and the way to go for flagship models, alas I doubt that will happen under ford

Nice beemer - i am one of a few on here who have had Beemers - still got a soft spot for them. What engine is it ?

Well spotted! It is a 530D & I live slap bang in the middle of Salisbury Plain. Those concrete roads are great for getting the tail out. Hoping to go to DMS in Andover this w/end to see what power they can yeild out of it. Cheers, Gwaredd.
Ah - you can't fool me ;) 530d - monster car - once DMS has had it a conservative 230 bhp and 340lb/ft should be achievable, and mounted to that lovely 5 speed auto - she should match midrange performance of a rica'd T5 in bursts. Very jealous though - I want the same car :(
