I'd like more power on my 850 T5, does anyone know the easiest and cheapest mod available? I've previously had TDi cars and a simple box connects in the system for around £400. I'm looking for 20% + BHP otherwise not really worth bothering with.
MBC (manual boost controller) is by far the cheapest way to get a noticable chunk of power out of pre-ME7 T-5's, believe they are about £40 now & let you adjust the boost to what you want (have to be sensible tho as your not upping fuel to match) not sure what percentage increase you get but it certainly turns them into a right beast :sinner:

i got mine from DBS motorsport (01522 856045/07961 973382) basically its an adjustable pressure release valve that you put in-line to the actuator replacing the BCS (boost control solenoid) taking control of the boost off the ecu (including limp home mode tho) so the turbo boosts to whatever you've set the valve at
