I backed my car up into this spot, saw in my mirror that there was enough clearance (maybe 1" - 1.5"), so I got my spoiler barely underneath that trailer. Then, when I got out, the car raised up about .75" and I saw the clearance... WHOA WAS I LUCKY!!! :)

What camera are you using? I'm sure you're using a tripod too, They're amazing! I'm thinking of buying a Canon EOS 300D soon, it's first use will be for skydiving photography but I'm sure I can get great results for other things.
I think he uses a Sony.
A was gonny say a thought he used some kinda filter but am not sure, it must be some kind of professional number anyway, the stars and lights look amazing If your ever in Scotland feel free to take some pics of ma car lol

Everyone seems to be carried away? Just a couple of observations based on my own opinion. One or two good ones - I liked the first one as it has a very strong impact against the blue airframe. The ghosting shot was amazing - considering the exposure length required to achieve it. I still felt that the composition on the 2nd was confused - the plane as a background was good but with it more to the front, the emphasis was lost. Without the tag line I wouldn't have understood. The first airship one makes your car look green. The bush shadow one - I dont like either - I liked the backdrop and felt that the subject was disguised/diluted by the leaf shadow. Can we see some daylight shots?

The first airship one makes your car look green.I had poor white balancing, I was going off of the airship in the background (which had different colors, so it affected the color my car looked). I am still learning how to tweak that properly, and people suggested having a piece of white paper with me and adjust the WB according to how the paper looks in the lighting conditions.
The bush shadow one - I dont like either - I liked the backdrop and felt that the subject was disguised/diluted by the leaf shadow.I didn't have very many other options for this picture, because that was the only place to park semi-legally (still blocking 1 lane) and have light on my car with minimal shadow. If I were to move further forward, there was more bushes and less lighting, and further back would be blocking a gate used by airport traffic. I thought the shadow would look cool, but there wasn't enough light on the car to counter out the shadows darkness, so it didn't look as nice as I had hoped.
Can we see some daylight shots?I sleep all day :P But I will try some new daytime shots, I just have trouble getting the correct lighting in the daytime (while adjusting all of the settings). Plus, during the day, I can't do all of my illegal stuff like parking in traffic, or take pictures from traffic lanes, ect. But, I will try to take some daytime shots tomorrow :)

I wanted to show the size of my car next to the plane, showing how small it really was. And about yours, the only thing I really see is that they aren't really staged or framed well. When I first started taking pictures, I wouldn't get the whole car in the picture, but I didn't think it was incomplete then. Now, I always get the whole car in, or I frame it so that only part of the car is in the picture for a reason, ya know? That's the biggest thing I noticed on your pictures. This camera doesn't have all of the manual options of dSLR's, lens options, ect. I haven't purchased any for this camera, as I don't plan on keeping it for a whole lot longer...
Well all, i thought i was doing well at photography using my Kodak Easyshare and a free program downloaded from internet that dicky b put us all onto ( the one responsible for all the recent new avatars probably!!;) but compared to Carsons piccies its back to the drawing board!!!!!LOL !!
More pictures! Today, I "test fit" a set of projectors with halos in my car that my friend Jeremy made. He will be sending them to someone on the other side of the country, so he wanted to test them on my car first.
I am trying harder to get the white balance on (which I think I did), better exposure and everything, and just getting some cool angles.

Mmm, and that's why we sand down diffusion lines in front of the projector, otherwise you get a ton of scatter!
Mirror shots are always cool, but my tripod is not as tall as I wish it were, and my lens won't zoom in far enough to get the shot I saw :( Oh well, you can't win 'em all...

He also has a Merc grille on his car, as well as a few other things inspired by other cars (Honda CRX + more) Jeremy's car is definately the most unique 855 I have EVER seen :D

I am liking it![/QUOTE] Sorry WD, I didn't mean anybody in particular :) Other people on Volvospeed had been giving me crap (only joking) about only taking night pictures, so I showed them! I just tend to take a lot of night pictures as they are much easier to take. It takes more talent to get good contrast in the daytime, at night, you can manipulate the lighting anyway you want to get the desired contrast. Maybe I can do some mods to my car, then take more pictures... I have a few engine parts on the way, along with new brakes :)

I have my foglights fixed, my driver (left :)) ground/earth wire connection was very corroded, so it wasn't working. Cleaned that up and put new bulbs in there, looks 10x better!
