There are a couple of threads re the anti skid service message, worth a look. We had it on our 05 S40 recently but decided to sell the car before getting it looked at. My thought was replacing the discs might solve the problem as they were excessively pitted and perhaps interfering with ABS sensors or something. The other possibility is a faulty ABS module which is expensive to replace.
hi theres a high chance that it will need a brake control module this is a very common problem with the s40 v50 so common volvo contribute to the cost take it to your local dealer to find out propley
took it over to mill volvo and they are doing the job for nothing abs modual would ave cost 500 pounds at volvo tho
