Is the old 40mm drop what i need?

New wheels on, now i wanna get off the monster truck look! does anyone know of and clearence isues with a 40mm drop on 225/45/17's? just like to know before i purchace springs

Hi. On full lock the inner part of the tyre will rub but it aint anything too worrie about mate.

keep hold of your old wheels for your MOT, and possibly your standard springs just incase

hhmm why would i wanna change the tyres and springs over for MOT as long as all these parts i put on are servicable they will go through MOT

I dont think i will have any problems, its very rarely checked! i will remove any rubs, ive fitted wheels just as big on smaller cars and also gone alot lower, (mallet et grinder)

my rear tyres rubbed with those size tyres so i put 215/40/17's on
