Well, it has been a while since I have posted here, since over 2 months ago my last car was totalled in a car accident :(
For those who don't remember it, it was:
So, the past 2 months have gone by, waiting to get my new car. I had school that was finishing up, so I needed to wait the extra time to get my new car, but let me tell you, it was worth the wait!
I would like to announce, my new, 1995 850 T-5R!
^^^ The last picture shows what happens when you drive a car 3000 miles to get it home :) East coast of the USA to the West coast in 4 days!
Once I got my car home, I immediately washed it, and started the modding with the help of a few local Volvo guys (from Volvospeed :P). We took off all of the stickers seen in the above pictures, and we also put my 18" Bright Silver Pegasus wheels onto the yellow, which I thought looked aweful when the car was still jacked up in the air because there were giant gaps between the wheel/fender. Then, we set the car down, and it almost made me cry :haha: So, here are some pictures I took a few nights ago with the car all current (no mods since):
Current mods done to the car are:
18" Silver Pegs
Silver iPd Mesh Grille
Eurosport Tuning Springs
Koni Adjustable struts
Eurosport Tuning Chrome Strut Brace
Eurosport Tuning 302mm Brake Upgrade
Supersprint Catback exhaust (with single muffler, no added resonators)
European Turn Signals
Auto Meter Boost/Vacuum gauge
Auto Meter A/F Ratio gauge (still needs O2 sensor in exhaust)
Kenwood CD player
Boston Acoustic speakers (which sound great!)
That is a nice list, but I plan on adding to that a little bit:
Porsche Big Brake Kit using the 993 Caliper, S60R Rotors (direct bolt in), and custom made mounting brackets
3" Downpipe/No Cat, with added O2 sensor bung for the A/F ratio gauge
ECU Chip/Reflash (unless I upgrade the turbo and need a custom remap, then I would probably go to RICA)
Tinted windows (maybe)
HID headlights with projector retrofit
850R rear spoiler (maybe, I like the factory spoiler though)
Paint the mesh of the iPd grille black, leaving a silver ring
Do more custom stereo work (custom fabricate a subwoofer box for the trunk to allow most storage space)
That about does it for me and my car :P

That looks really nice mate, what suspension have you got on there? mine is lowered 30mm on Eibach springs but doesn't look that low on the front. I must say you are a great photographer, I am jealous, I would love to have 3000 miles of great photo shots to enjoy!!!

I have Eurosport Tuning Springs with Koni adjustable struts (just new Volvo shocks in the rear, not Koni adjustables).
Those 3000 miles were fun, but also a true test on the car. I am taking it into the shop on Thursday for a few things (all fluids being flushed (tranny, oil, and coolant), and then having some other things looked at.
:) I <3 my new car! I am just off to transfer the title and take care of that right now.

Good to have you back on the road. She is a credit to you. I had a crack at some night time photos after seeing your shots of the previous 854. Any tips - all mine came out underexposed :(

If they come out underexposed, give em more time :) Also, adjust the aperature (F/stop) to allow more light in.
New mod performed @ midnight (7/6), painted my mesh grille black leaving the silver ring. I need to take some daytime shots, but I have a couple to show how it looks.

Think I will need to try manual shutter speeds and get a decent tripod. Fstop was as low as it could go. What speeds / apeture are you using on yours?

Well, for the gas station picture, I had:
Shutter Speed = 1/1.6 (Stupid Sony :P It's close to 1.6 seconds of open shutter, but they label it funny :slap: )
Aperature = F4.5
White Balance = Manual setting (adjusted it to the gas station lighting)
ISO = 100
Heck, I am still learning stuff about my camera :dunce:

I see the gas station is Chevron. I use Chevron branded synethic oil from www.costco.com Is it popular in the states,isn't it Texaco ?

Thought i'd join the crowd in saying thats a nice motor.
The silver rims do look better IMHO
I have the 850 R spoiler and personally think it would suit yours to the ground. (beleive it or not thats one of the first things i noticed on yours....standard T5 saloon spoiler) still looks good though.
Again great photos, fancy a trip over to do us some shots.....?

Chevron is a popular gas station, as are Shell, Texaco, Exxon, and some others...
I have considered the 850R rear spoiler for the boot, but I didn't have a spoiler period on my last car, so the standard T5 one looks good in my mind :)
