must admit i read the title wrong, i thought it said "volvrat down the pond". I was expecting to see just the roof rack breaking the surface of a lake because of the latest issues lol

In the first video, the laughing is my mates cos of the Dukes of Hazzard air horn I did at launch :D The guy in the golf was giving it all big stuff about how he wanted an easy race when we were queuing up :lol: Mistaaaaakkkkeeeeee

Glad that you beat that golf, so much noise then got beat by a ratted out volvo lol. Considering he left you off the lights, it shows how much real power he had i.e not much.

Cheers gilmore. Dead now though :( Head gasket has gone, engine got well and truly cooked to the point where the valve cover / top half of head has welded itself to the head and the HT leads are melted to the spark plugs :( I had bought a new head on eBay but thinking that there's probably far too much damage done to the engine to bother trying that :(
Try Salvo/Nads/Readview for an engine, i picked one up for £250 from salvo its the cheapest and easiest route to get the rat back mate.
Sorry to hear that mate, just spotted post in 'Wanted' and first i realised it was dead. Hope you get it back on the road soon mate, the spirit of the rat will be missed :(
The rat will live on in some Volvo form. My dad's gonna go to a car auction for me on Monday as there's a 940 turbo wagon there, so may have to cope with a 940 instead of an 850 but as long as it's a Volvo estate with a turbo then it's all good. If I get a RWD wagon though, be prepared for some high power figures ;)
